To be, or not to be…

Unbiased…. When we talk about unbiased information today, it opens up a whole can of worms especially as we try to identify truthful sources among the many news channels.  What exactly does unbiased mean?

If someone or something is unbiased, it means they are free of prejudice or inclination and are able to make decisions objectively and fairly.  To become unbiased takes years of expertise.

Living Abroad makes every effort to create unbiased destination reports that are used by assignees, families, and business travelers.  How is this possible?  Our content management team, with over 35 years of combined experience, has access to hundreds of sources that are compared when creating a report to make sure the information about the destination is true.  That’s how all 215 destination reports have been curated, created, and updated over the last 30 years.

While some would say that this information can be found on the internet, have you ever tried?  There are thousands of articles on every destination.  Some may be very good, but many are misleading, biased, or out of date.  This would also take a lot of time out of a day doing research.  Would the articles be written from a business perspective?  This is important for those traveling abroad.

What about Duty of Care?  When employees use information found off the internet that is not vetted, they could be putting themselves and the company at risk.  Booking a hotel or apartment in a neighborhood that isn’t safe or even taking the wrong taxi can put employees in dangerous situations.

The value of our information stems from our philosophy:  create unbiased, current, and business- relatable reports with practical information.  We are dedicated to the craft of making something meaningful and practical.

We offer you:

  • some of your time back (most important)
